Quick ways to lose weight can be hard to find at the best of times. There are thousands of people all over the internet telling you to do different things. Here are my 5 favorite tips. They helped me to drop from 107.5kg all the way to 76kg! I lost 31.5kg over about 3 months. It wasn't easy but it was worth it.


I now enjoy spending time with my kids - I get to run and play soccer and football with them and I can chase them in the park and actually catch them. My wife is my main supporter - we have had some great times ever since I cut my flab. So without further ado, here are the best 5.

Each day I would watch how much I ate and then made sure to exercise it off THAT DAY. And exercise can be anything, from a workout at the gym to chasing your kids around the park.
  2. Water yourself. You body is about 70% water and you want to keep it that way, making drinking water one of the quick ways to lose weight. Some people think that if they drink too much water they will gain weight but it is actually the opposite. Your body's systems will operate at maximum effectiveness so long as you give them sufficient water.
  3. Calorie shifting. This is definitely one of the quick ways to lose weight. Basically it is the practice of changing your calorie intake at each meal. If all you do is drop the calorie intake and then leave it, your body gets used to it and hence will not burn it off. So shift it and don't let your body get used to how much you eat.
  4. Get fat! Not really but realize that some fats are good. Scientists call them essential fatty acids and I call them one of the quick ways to lose weight. Most have been stripped from shelf items so it's your responsibility to put them back in.
  5. Flee from white bread. Or just eat wholemeal bread instead. It has been proven by research that the more processed something is, the more likely it is going to give you belly fat. Why did you think it was white? Think bleach. Definitely not one of the quick ways to lose weight.


I spent more energy than I consumed, drank lots of water (about 2 liters a day), shifted my calorie intake, got some fats, and abstained from white bread. The result? A loss of 31.5kg over 3 months! I'm stoked. I feel so much better.
